FAQ's for Truck Train Horns

Where can I install my horn?

- Horns can be installed nearly anywhere on your vehicle that is free of moving parts, or obstruction. The trunk, or truckbed is a popular location, but horns can also be installed under the hood, or on the roof.

Is it safe to install my horn under the hood of my vehicle?

- Yes, it is. Please ensure that the location you choose is clear of moving parts. Horns will not be damaged by placement under the hood, and will be safe from normal heat conditions.

Will plastic parts melt when placed under the hood of my car?

- There is no risk of melting, warping, or damage to plastic parts under normal heat conditions. Our durable plastics can withstand temperatures of -40 degrees Fahrenheit up to 150 degrees. Our black horns are made of durable plastics, and there is no risk for our metal and chrome horns.

What happens if my airhorn gets damaged, or breaks?

- All our horns come with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. If they break or are damaged due to normal wear and tear, please contact us immediately, so that we can assist you in getting a replacement horn or part.

How loud are your train horn kits?

- Our kits are very loud. Direct contact near the ear can result in aural injuries. Some of our , like the Nathan air chime are train-use level.

How is shipping calculated?

- After you place your order, we will call you immediately, and send you an invoice for the cost of the shipping. Once we have received your payment for freight, your order will be shipped right away.
